Description:
Ash Burl is rotary cut from the burl of one of several European Ashes with color and markings similar to Olive Wood. Colors range from white to yellow to brown with a fine burl pattern.
The heartwood is cream to pale tan coloured. In some logs a dark brown to black
Tamo veneer is also called tamo ash veneer,and is found extensively throughout Asia,the colour of tamo ash veneer is straw biscuit coloured to light brown and slightly darker than that of white ash,Tamo burls are excellently suited for the production of very decorative veneers,Although tamo ash veneer grain is nomally straight,it can be wavy and curly,producing a “peanut”figured wood,which is the most commonly seen typer of veneer made from the specie,tamo ash veneer can be used in the surface of furniture and interior decoration,etc.
